Cooking & Serving @ The Loudoun Homeless Shelter
Non-perishable and canned foods were collected throughout the community from individuals wanting to make a difference. The items given were used to cook meals such as vegetable rice, pasta, and beans, and these meals were later served to individuals at the Loudoun Homeless Shelter!
Received several clothes for donations, receiving more than 5,000 articles. Sorted and sold them on eBay, with all profits going to support homeless shelters.
Clothing Drive
Holiday Care Packages @ DC
Went around Union Station and other parts of DC with holiday care packages for those in need that included toothbrushes, toothpaste, thermal blankets, razors, pads, hats, gloves, and NutriGrain bars. In total, we handed out around 100 bags to people in need, spreading holiday cheer!
Bingo Night @ The Loudoun Homeless Shelter
Had a Bingo night at the Loudoun Homeless Shelter and gave out over ten gift cards donated from local businesses and restaurants as prizes. 100+ people joined in to the fun, and everyone had a great experience! Reached out to members of the homeless community and had some great discussions about their experiences.
Serving @ The Loudoun Homeless Shelter
Went to the Loudoun Homeless Shelter and served pizza generously contributed by Masala Pizza and Bitezz along with other side dishes. Reached out to members at the shelter and had conversations about their experiences, gaining a lot of insight.
Helping Hands Drive
Led community outreach to collect donations including clothes (lightly worn or unused) and food, and donated all items directly to those in the unhoused community. If you would still like to donate, please reach out to us to coordinate a pickup.
